Circle

I tend to talk in circle too much. Once it starts, it doesn't stop, like a wheel that keeps on rolling. A wheel is round like a circle, so it rolls, and rolls, until something stop it from rolling. Days are a bit circular in shape. Today I work, tomorrow I work again. Sometimes things repeat less frequently, but hopefully it is something good. Perhaps, it is just a déjà vu, but it might as well have happened. Days also swing like a pendulum. In some days, I watch paint dry. The next day, the wall gets vandalized. And the day after, I am back to watching paint dry. If you swing the pendulum hard enough, it goes full circle! We all walk in a strange path that would seem familiar to somebody. Not only you repeat your own path, you also repeat others' path. It is impossible not to repeat because we all walk in circle. Isn't predictability great? Knowing things feel powerful. Those who likes surprises may ask, What's the point then? Well, if a circle is small enough, do we not see it as a point? In the grand scheme of things, I or anyone is really are just a tiny point, or a tiny dot. We are the point! This dot, however, is infinitely vast spiritually. Similar to how the Earth is small compare to the entire universe, yet, the Earth is still large for us human.

A wheel will stop rolling, a pendulum will stop swinging, and the Earth will stop spinning, but time does not stop. When my pendulum stops, the other keeps going. When it comes to the day everything we perceive stops, it does not necessarily means the world has stopped. Perhaps, the world is just a dot, circling around perhaps another dot. When we turn into dust, we cease to be a single dot. We as individual dot, comes together to draw the one circle of infinity. So far, I have only spoken in bunch of clichés, which revolves around circle. That is appropriate because a cliché is a circle, and the circle is a cliché. There is nothing is new under the sun.
